Do You Know the Memory Verse?
Tune: London Bridges
Do you know the memory verse?
The memory verse, the memory verse?
Do you know the memory verse,
If you do, SAY IT!
Make this song into a game! Have children hold hands and walk in circle. Two teachers make a bridge by joining hands for students to pass through. When you sing, “SAY It!”, bring hands down and trap a student. That student gets to say the memory verse. Repeat play until all students have a turn.
Genesis 1:1
Tune: London Bridges
In the beginning, God created,
The heavens
And the earth.
In the beginning, God created,
The heavens
And the earth.
