The BEst Homeschool American History Spine
Whenever we study a new period in history, I like to start with one solid “spine” that gives us the big picture. Then we add lots of living books, biographies, and historical fiction to make the people and events come alive.
For learning about the American Revolution, there’s nothing better than America’s History from Tuttle Twins. Instead of simply memorizing names and dates, these amazing books explain the ideas that shaped America’s founding and encourage thoughtful family discussions along the way.
