Jesus Could Do Miracles
Tune: Mary Had a Little Lamb
Jesus could do miracles,
Miracles, miracles.
Jesus could do miracles,
Because He was God’s Son.
He stopped the storm and healed the sick,
Healed the sick, healed the sick
He stopped the storm and healed the sick,
And made a dead girl live!
Jesus Fed 5,000
Tune: Jesus Loves Me
Five little loaves and two small fish,
Grew and grew at Jesus’ wish!
Fed 5,000, every one!
All because He is God’s Son.
Yes, Jesus fed them.
Yes, Jesus fed them.
Yes, Jesus fed them.
He fed 5,000 men.
Five Loaves and Two Fishes
Tune: Ten Little Indians
By Sharon Broome
One little boy shared his lunch
One little boy shared his lunch
One little boy shared his lunch
And Jesus fed five thousand.
Five little loaves and two little fishes
Five little loaves and two little fishes
Five little loaves and two little fishes
Jesus fed five thousand.
Took the food, prayed, and broke it
Took the food, prayed, and broke it
Took the food, prayed, and broke it
Then passed it to the apostles.
Each one ate until he was full
Each one ate until he was full
Each one ate until he was full
And there were still leftovers.
Twelve basketfuls were left over
Twelve basketfuls were left over
Twelve basketfuls were left over
After each had eaten.
Five Loaves and Two Fish
By Susan Anderson
Tune: On Top of Old Smokey
I read of a young lad
In John chapter six,
Whose lunch fed the thousands
With his loaves and fish.
The crowd followed Jesus
To a mount that day.
He said let us feed them
‘Fore they go their way.
Philip said there’s not money
To buy enough bread
For five thousand men and
Their families to be fed.
Andrew said here’s a lad
Five loaves and two fish,
But what is so little
With thousands like this?
Jesus blessed the fishes
And broke up the bread.
And with that young lad’s lunch
The crowd was all fed.
They picked up the remnants
Of all they had left.
There were twelve baskets full
Of food Jesus blessed.
The Loaves and Fishes
Tune: London Bridge
A boy once had five barley loaves,
Barley loaves, barley loaves
A boy once had five barley loaves,
And two small fishes.
Jesus blessed the loaves and fish,
loaves and fish, loaves and fish,
Jesus blessed the loaves and fish,
And fed 5,000.
The disciples gathered what remained,
What remained, what remained,
The disciples gathered what remained,
And filled 12 baskets.
One Boy’s Lunch
Tune: Row, Row, Row Your Boat
One boy shared his lunch,
A miracle was made.
Five loaves of bread and 2 little fish.
The multitude was saved.
Five Loaves of Bread and Two Small Fish
Tune: Jimmy Crack Corn
Five loaves of bread and two small fish,
Five loaves of bread and two small fish,
Five loaves of bread and two small fish,
That’s all the little boy had.
Jesus blessed the bread and fish,
Jesus blessed the bread and fish,
Jesus blessed the bread and fish,
Five thousand then were fed.
Everyone ate ‘til they were full,
Everyone ate ‘til they were full,
Everyone ate ‘til they were full,
Yet there was plenty left.
Jesus did a miracle,
Jesus did a miracle,
Jesus did a miracle,
He is the Son of God.
Feeding of the 5,000
Tune: There’s a Hole in the Bucket
“Where, oh where shall we find bread?”
Said the disciples.
“Where, o where shall we find bread
For people to eat?”
It would take so much money,
Said Philip, said Philip.
It would take so much money
To buy bread to eat.
Here’s a boy with five small loaves,
Said Andrew, Said Andrew.
Here’s a boy with five small loaves,
And two little fish.
“Tell the people to sit down,”
Said Jesus, said Jesus.
“Tell the people to sit down,
To sit down to eat”
Jesus gave thanks for God
For the loaves and the fishes,
Jesus gave thanks for God
For the loaves and the fish.
The food fed 5,000.
Five thousand, five thousand.
The food fed 5,000.
With 12 baskets left.
We know we can trust You,
Dear Jesus, Dear Jesus.
We know we can trust You
To feed us each day.
