Now, starting Friday, November 20, 2020, anyone can go online and send a gift-filled backpack to any teacher they love, at no-cost! Teachers will then receive a backpack filled with self-care items to help them rest and relax! Educators spend all day long making our children feel loved and appreciated. The Thank Your Teacher initiative is an amazing way to return the favor and let them know how much we love and appreciate them as well!
Steps to Ordering a FREE Teacher’s Self-care Backpack
- Go to the Teacher’s Backpack Initiative online at www.teachersbackpack.com
- Enter in your teacher’s name
- Enter in a shipping address (shipping to the school will work just fine!)
- That’s it! A backpack will be shipped to your teacher at no cost to you or your teacher
How simple is that? Yay! So easy to thank your teacher!
What’s inside the Thank Your Teacher Backpack?
Inside the backpack are items your teacher can use for some R&R and self-pampering: affirmation journals, cozy socks and apparel, stainless steel hydration bottles, gift cards to restaurants and online retailers, electronics, and other valuable resources to help reduce the incredible stress teachers face daily. All of the items to thank your teacher are provided by individual donors and sponsors.
Pre-orders begin on November 20 and the gift-filled backpacks will ship in April of 2021 just in time for the end of the school year.
In the future, The Teacher’s Backpack plans to roll-out themed backpacks that the sender can choose depending on their teacher and the type of items they would enjoy most. These additional options should be available to thank your teacher by 2021.
