Bible Songs for kids

My daddy and mama dragged me to church from the time I was little.  In fact, I can never recall a time when we didn’t get up and go to church on Sunday morning.  And for most of those services they were engaged in teaching Bible classes, too.  Which means I also have many memories of my folks prepping to teach their Bible classes.  For mom that always meant singing some sort of Bible song to drive home the children’s lesson from God’s word.  Between Mom and Dad and my siblings – someone was always singing.

Over the years, many of those children’s Bible songs found a way to lodge in my head and eventually in my heart, too.  As I got into my college years, I started to write down some of those Bible songs for kids.  When I had my own children, naturally I sang them at home and in Bible classes I taught at church, too.

Gradually, my little hand-written collection of Bible songs grew into an unwieldy Word document and a 3-ring binder jammed with bits and scraps of songs jotted down from who knows where!

Eventually, I started this blog and decided it was time to share my little Bible songs for kids collection with the world.
